Success

This past week has had a couple of successes. First I have scheduled an Interview at Lazy Paws Animal Hospital with a Dr. Julaine Hunter. Even though I had gotten a lot of no’s it was still a positive outcome even if it was just one interview. I gained a lot of different information from Dr. Hunter. When I went there the plans had changed a little bit and the meeting was delayed about 15-20 minutes or so. I believe that it was a great example of how a doctor's schedule is always changing. But as the meeting started she was very nice and answered a lot of my questions with even just her introduction, and gave me advice on other classes to take that pertain to the veterinary field. We even discussed a little about my original work project and how I can narrow down my research because I choose a broad topic. She suggested that I choose a certain animal and what types of anxious behavior would I be looking for in my research. Once the meeting was almost over we discussed other professionals to contact for both my original work and to get into contact with other veterinary professionals.
